1. What TrueLine Breeding Is
TrueLine Breeding is a directory service. We host verified listings for dogs and pet services in Ireland. TrueLine Breeding is a passive host under EU digital services law — we do not buy, sell, or broker any animal, and we never handle payment for a transaction between users.
2. What We Verify
Verification badges on TrueLine Breeding indicate that a document was checked and matched a stated claim — for example, that an uploaded certificate names an IKC registration number, or that an insurance document shows a current policy. A badge is not a guarantee. We cannot verify the health, temperament, or provenance of any animal beyond what is documented, and we cannot verify facts not captured in the submitted documents.
3. No Transactions Through TrueLine Breeding
TrueLine Breeding never processes payment for the sale of an animal or a service booking. Any transaction between a buyer and seller happens entirely outside the platform, at their own risk. We strongly advise never paying a deposit before viewing an animal in person.
4. Compliance
Listings for dogs must comply with S.I. 681/2019 (Ireland), including mandatory disclosure of microchip number, seller registration where applicable, country of origin, and minimum age. TrueLine Breeding validates these fields at intake but the seller is responsible for their accuracy.
5. Account Responsibilities
You must be 18 or older to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit. TrueLine Breeding may suspend accounts that submit fraudulent documents, engage in scam behaviour, or violate these terms.
6. Reporting & Takedown
Any user can report a listing, review, or message. We aim to action reports within 24 hours. Notice-and-takedown requests should be sent through the in-app report button on the relevant content.
